HopHire is a video-first job platform that connects candidates and employers through short video profiles and applications. Instead of traditional resumes, candidates create quick video resumes that showcase their personality and skills, helping employers find the right fit faster.
HopHire uses a swipe-based, video-first approach inspired by how people naturally consume content. Candidates record short video resumes instead of writing cover letters, and employers can quickly browse through video profiles to find great matches. It is faster, more personal, and more engaging than traditional job boards.
HopHire is free for job seekers. You can create a profile, browse jobs, and apply at no cost. Employers subscribe to a monthly plan.
HopHire features a wide range of opportunities including hospitality, retail, creative, tech, marketing, and more. We are especially popular for roles where personality and communication skills matter, such as customer-facing positions, sales, and creative roles.
After signing up, go to your Profile tab and tap "Record Video Resume." You will get prompts to help you introduce yourself in 30-60 seconds. Tips: find good lighting, look at the camera, smile, and briefly share your experience and what you are looking for. You can re-record as many times as you like before saving.
Browse jobs on the Home feed by swiping through video job listings. When you find a role you like, tap the Apply button. Your video profile and resume (if uploaded) will be sent to the employer. You can also add a short personalized message with each application.
Go to the Applications tab to see all your submitted applications. Each application shows its current status: Submitted, Viewed, Interview, Offered, or Declined. You will also receive push notifications when your application status changes.
From your Employer Dashboard, tap "Post a Job." Fill in the job details including title, description, requirements, location, and pay range. You can also record a short video showcasing your workplace and team culture. Once posted, your job will be visible to candidates immediately.
When candidates apply, you will see their video profiles in your Applicants tab. You can watch their video resumes, review their experience, and quickly accept or pass on each applicant. Accepted applicants can then be scheduled for interviews directly through the app.
